Voholabs

    Connect Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and other developer tools

    Coding agents connect to the Voholabs Studio MCP server at https://studio.voholabs.com/api/mcp and send your API key in an Authorization header. Studio's Settings › Connect Agent › Developer tools tab generates the exact config for each client.

    Developer tools send your API key as a header, so the server address carries no secret. The examples below use YOUR_API_KEY; Studio's panel fills in your real key for you.

    How do I connect a developer tool?#

    1. In Studio, open Settings › Connect Agent, pick the Developer tools tab and choose your client.
    2. Press Copy to copy the generated config, which already contains your key.
    3. Paste it where your client expects MCP servers, as listed below, and restart or reload the client.
    4. Ask the agent to list your Voholabs Studio channels to confirm it is connected.

    What is the config for each client?#

    Cursor#

    Add to .cursor/mcp.json in your project root:

    JSON
    {
      "mcpServers": {

          "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" }
        }
      }

          "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" }
        }
      }
    }

    Warp#

    Open Settings › MCP Servers › + Add and paste:

    JSON
    {
      "voholabs": {
        "url": "https://studio.voholabs.com/api/mcp",
        "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" }
      }
    }

    Where do I find my API key?#

    In Settings › Connect Agent, under API Key. The same key powers your connectors, the CLI and the public API, so keep it private and rotate it if it leaks.

    Frequently asked questions

    Why do developer tools use a different address from Claude and ChatGPT?

    Coding agents can send an Authorization header, so the key stays out of the URL. Chat apps cannot set headers, which is why they use the connector link with the key inside it.

    Which server name should I use?

    Studio's generated config uses voholabs, so it does not overwrite another MCP server or CLI you may already have registered under a different name.
