Postiz vs HubSpot in 2026: $468 or $13,680 for a Five-Person Team
Postiz vs HubSpot on price, seats, channels, hosting and CRM attribution. A five-person team on ten channels pays $468 or $13,680 in year one.

Capterra lists HubSpot Marketing Hub as a free alternative to Postiz. HubSpot's own knowledge base says social publishing needs Marketing Hub Professional or Enterprise, and Professional starts at $800 a month on annual commitment. That mismatch is why Postiz vs HubSpot is a confusing search: the review sites file the two side by side, and they do different jobs.
Postiz is a social media scheduler you can host yourself or rent from $29 a month. HubSpot is a CRM whose social tool arrives inside a marketing suite. For a five-person team on ten channels, year one costs $468 on hosted Postiz and $13,680 on HubSpot. Below, both are priced at three team sizes and compared on channels, hosting and attribution.
Postiz vs HubSpot: a scheduler against a CRM with a scheduler inside
Postiz is a publishing tool and HubSpot is a customer database with publishing attached, which is why their prices sit so far apart. Postiz schedules posts to more than 30 networks, reports per-post analytics from each network's own API, and publishes its code on GitHub under the AGPL-3.0 licence. It keeps no contact records.
HubSpot's Marketing Hub bundles email, automation and reporting around its CRM, and its social tool can connect a comment or a click to a named contact. So the comparison weighs two jobs: publishing for the least money, and recording what posts do against the people in your database. Postiz wins the first on almost every axis below, and HubSpot is built for the second.
Postiz vs HubSpot pricing for one, five and eight people
Postiz charges one flat price per plan, while HubSpot charges a base price plus seats and a one-time onboarding fee, so the gap widens as people join. Postiz's hosted plans are Standard at $29 a month for 5 channels, Team at $39 for 10 channels and Pro at $49 for 30 channels, all with unlimited posts; Team and Pro add unlimited team members. HubSpot's Professional tier starts at $800 a month on annual commitment ($890 paying monthly), includes three core seats, adds seats from $45 a month each and carries a required $3,000 onboarding fee.
The sums below assume every person who publishes in HubSpot holds a core seat, and they run cheapest first.
- A solo operator on 5 channels pays $29 a month for Postiz Standard, $348 in year one, against $800 a month for HubSpot Professional, or $12,600 in year one once onboarding is added.
- A team of five on 10 channels pays $39 a month for Postiz Team, $468 in year one. HubSpot adds two seats at $45 to the $800 base, so $890 a month and $13,680 in year one.
- A team of eight on 30 channels pays $49 a month for Postiz Pro, $588 in year one. HubSpot needs five extra seats, so $1,025 a month and $15,300 in year one.

HubSpot's figure also buys email, automation and the CRM, so it is only like for like when publishing is the whole job. The same seat arithmetic across nine tools is in our cheapest social media scheduler comparison.
Which social networks Postiz and HubSpot publish to
Postiz publishes to more than 30 networks, and HubSpot's social tool publishes to seven. HubSpot names Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, TikTok, X and YouTube. Postiz covers those and adds Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon, Google My Business, Telegram and Discord, plus a long tail of community and blogging platforms.
Threads is the gap a small business is most likely to notice, because HubSpot does not list it. Volume caps rarely matter at this size: HubSpot's pricing page lists up to 50 connected accounts and 10,000 posts a month on Professional, and every Postiz plan allows unlimited posts. If part of your audience sits on a network HubSpot leaves out, that settles the choice before price does.

Self-hosted Postiz or hosted HubSpot: who runs the software
HubSpot is hosted only, while Postiz can be rented or run on your own server for no licence fee. Self-hosting swaps the subscription for infrastructure: the Postiz README lists a PostgreSQL database, Redis, cloud storage and a Docker deployment, and names the main difference from the cloud version as the infrastructure you own and "approval from social media providers".
Each network needs its own developer app, according to the Postiz provider documentation, and the README warns that review can take weeks on Meta, YouTube and TikTok. A team with a developer and a reason to keep data on its own servers gains from that trade. Everyone else gets the same software from $29 a month with the apps already approved.
Does scheduling in Postiz break HubSpot attribution?
Whether a social visit is credited in HubSpot depends on the link, whichever tool posted it, so HubSpot's native social tool earns its price on engagement data rather than lead source. HubSpot files a visit as Organic social when utm_medium is social and utm_source names a recognised network, and the Original Traffic Source property that stores it exists on all HubSpot plans. A tagged link posted from Postiz lands in the CRM exactly as one posted from inside HubSpot; the tagging convention is set out step by step in our guide to HubSpot's social media tools.
Engagement is where the two part company. HubSpot says its social tool shows the visits, leads and customers social media generates, and ties interactions to contacts, so post performance and pipeline sit in one report. Postiz reports likes, comments and reach per post, and none of it reaches a contact record unless you build the bridge, for example in Make, which lists Postiz and HubSpot CRM modules side by side.
Where Voholabs Studio lands on price, seats, networks and hosting
Voholabs Studio is a free hosted social media scheduler, and it belongs in a Postiz vs HubSpot comparison because it does Postiz's half of the job at the price of HubSpot's free CRM. It is ours, so weigh the claims below the way you weighed the others.
- It costs $0 at all three team sizes above, with no trial and no card.
- Team members are included on the free plan, so seats never enter the sum.
- Channels and scheduled posts are unlimited across six networks today: LinkedIn profiles and pages, X, Instagram, Facebook, Threads and TikTok. That is one network fewer than HubSpot and far fewer than Postiz, with no Reddit, YouTube or Pinterest.
- We host it as a community service, so support is limited and fixes arrive at our pace. The code sits in an open-source repository if you would rather fix something yourself. There is no uptime promise, and media storage stops at 2 GB.
- There is no CRM built in. A link tagged utm_medium=social with the network as utm_source still lands in HubSpot's Original Traffic Source when the visitor becomes a contact, so Studio can run beside HubSpot Free or Starter without changing what the CRM records.
The free plan includes a public API and an MCP connection. MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is an open standard that lets an AI assistant use an outside tool on your behalf. If you write posts with an assistant and paste each into a network by hand, you are AI-enabled; connecting the assistant to the scheduler makes you AI-first, with the assistant queueing the week and you approving it. AI writing and image generation are paid, as part of Apex, our content agent. Other free plans and their caps are in our free social media scheduler comparison.
If six networks cover your audience, connect them and queue a week of posts: try Voholabs Studio free.
Postiz or HubSpot: match the tool to the job
Choose HubSpot when the CRM is the reason you are buying, and Postiz when publishing is. HubSpot suits a business already paying for Marketing Hub Professional for its automation, since the social tool then costs nothing extra, and a sales-led team that wants social comments on the contact record.
Postiz suits a team that needs Threads, Bluesky, Pinterest or the long tail, a team with a developer who wants the code and data on its own server, and any small team that wants hosted publishing with unlimited members for $39 to $49 a month. Per-seat tools sit between the two: Hootsuite starts at $99 a month per user, as our Hootsuite alternatives breakdown shows. A solo operator on three channels can stay on Buffer's free plan, covered in our Buffer pricing breakdown.
On HubSpot Free or Starter with no plan to upgrade, a free scheduler plus tagged links keeps the CRM record intact at no cost, including when staff post from their own profiles in an employee-generated content programme.
What to do next
Postiz is the stronger and cheaper publisher, and HubSpot is the tool to buy when social activity has to sit on contact records. Write down three numbers, your people, your networks and how many of them read social history on a contact, then price each option at those numbers. When you want the posts written as well as scheduled, Apex does that on top of Studio.
Start with the job you need done.

Frequently asked questions
- Does HubSpot have a free social media scheduler? No. HubSpot's knowledge base lists Marketing Hub Professional and Enterprise as the subscriptions that can publish social posts. Professional starts at $800 a month on annual commitment plus a $3,000 onboarding fee, so a review site that lists HubSpot as a free Postiz alternative is describing a free CRM that cannot publish posts.
- Can Postiz send leads to HubSpot? Not natively. Tag each link with utm_medium=social and the network as utm_source, and HubSpot records the visit as Organic social on the contact's Original Traffic Source, a property available on every plan. For deeper syncing, Make offers Postiz and HubSpot CRM modules you can join in one workflow.
- Is Postiz cheaper than HubSpot for a small team?Yes, by a wide margin for publishing alone. Postiz Team is $39 a month for 10 channels and unlimited team members. HubSpot Professional with five core seats comes to $890 a month on annual commitment plus $3,000 onboarding, although that price also covers email, automation and the CRM.
- Which is better for Threads, Bluesky or Pinterest?Postiz. It lists more than 30 networks, including Threads, Bluesky and Pinterest, while HubSpot's social tool publishes to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, TikTok, X and YouTube. Voholabs Studio's free plan covers Threads but not Bluesky or Pinterest.
