# Connect your AI agent to Voholabs Studio

> Studio runs an MCP server, so any AI agent that speaks the Model Context Protocol can use your Studio account. Claude and ChatGPT connect with a private connector link from Settings › Connect Agent, and coding agents connect with your API key in a header.

MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is the open standard that lets an AI assistant use an outside tool directly. Studio's MCP server gives your agent the same abilities you have in the app: listing channels, writing and scheduling posts, uploading media and reading analytics.

## Where do I find my connection details?

In Studio, open **Settings › Connect Agent**. The **Connect** tab has three tabs of its own: **Claude**, **ChatGPT** and **Developer tools**. Each one shows the steps for that agent and a button that copies exactly what you need. New accounts also see the same panel as the second step of onboarding, **Connect your agent**.

## What can my agent do in Studio?

- See which account and channels it is working with.
- Read each network's rules and settings before it writes.
- Schedule, draft, edit, reschedule and delete posts.
- Find the next free time slot for a channel.
- Upload images and videos, from your computer or from a link.
- Read channel and post analytics.
- Work with a connected Sanity project.

## How do I keep my account safe?

Your connector link and your API key give full access to post on your channels. Keep them in your own agent settings only. If either leaks, rotate the key in **Settings › Connect Agent** and reconnect your agents with the new one.

## Frequently asked questions

### Do I need to install anything?

No. The MCP server runs at studio.voholabs.com. You paste a link or a config into your agent and it connects.

### Does connecting an agent cost anything?

No. MCP is free on every plan. The agent's actions are charged the same way as yours, so only pay-per-use features such as posting to X spend credits.

### Can my agent see my password or my social media logins?

No. The agent uses your Studio API key. It never sees the logins of your connected networks, and you can cut it off at any time by rotating the key.

### Is there a limit on how much an agent can do?

There is a per-minute request limit per workspace, which is higher once you have topped up your wallet. If an agent hits it, Studio answers "Too many requests, slow down and try again in a minute."
